H. E. Butt Foundation
When we first started working with the H. E. Butt Foundation, the majority of their work centered around a unique ranch in the Texas Hill Country. It is a space of retreat, renewal, and refocus. Over time, as their work has moved to include community outreach and capacity building in San Antonio, we have spent more time with them in the city.
The Box Canyon
For several years we sought to capture one of the unique features of the Foundation - a retreat center in the Texas Hill Country. We took a variety of musicians and artists into a small corner of the property to capture moments of beauty.
Legacy Film
Family foundations are complex systems - and it’s important to have new employees understand what makes their new organization so unique. We captured stories from 3 generations of the Butt Family and a variety of initatives to create an onboarding film that takes people from the facts to the heart of the H. E. Butt Foundation.
New Initiatives
As the H. E. Butt Foundation has expanded the scope of it’s work to include San Antonio, we’ve worked with them to tell the story of housing affordability in the city. Hearing stories from neighbors has become a significant part of their new effort, Know Your Neighbor.
